The NT and Commonwealth Ministers signed off on the NT Regional Investment Strategy (RIS) on Tuesday 21 June 2005.

The RIS is both a business plan and an investment prospectus for the accredited Integrated Natural Resource Management (INRM) Plan for the Northern Territory. It will detail the programs, costs and timeframes required to address the issues raised in the INRM plan in a strategic way. The proposed Regional Investment Strategy describes how natural resource management will be funded through the Natural Heritage Trust (NHT) in the Northern Territory over the next three years.
